DESCRIPTION |

The successful candidate will lead Digital Corporate Marketing and Communications at CIT including but not limited to cit.com, @cit (corporate intranet) and online marketing/advertising.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities: • Business lead for cit.com and @cit including overall site maintenance, content management, and promotion. Manage cross-departmental project teams of internal customers and external vendors to define project scopes, business requirements, and creative vision, set deliverables, and keep projects on schedule and within budget. Work closely with STS as needed. • Manage CIT online brand including online sub-brands to ensure compliance with overall corporate web standards. • Partner with VP Brand Marketing and business unit marketing personnel to create online marketing programs. 1) Work with media agency and media partners to evaluate and implement innovative online advertising programs. 2) Manage relationship with search engine optimization agency to develop and implement search engine optimization strategies including paid media searches, to make sure sites are properly architected and designed to achieve high algorithmic rankings in search engines. • Review and analyze web site usage metrics and user feedback. Report results to management and implement site enhancements to improve usability.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: The ideal candidate is a highly results-oriented, organized interactive marketing professional with a proven ability to design, implement and manage a multitude of online/web projects.
• Must have a strong sense of web intuition and online technology • Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and negotiation skills • Excellent oral and written communications skills • Effective decision maker, solid organizational skills, strong attention to detail and very self-motivated • Must be flexible and work well in a collaborative environment, managing the requirements of multiple departments/projects simultaneously • Strong sense of design and experience working with both creative and structured personalities • Effective leader with proven ability to motivate and manage people and external agencies • Ability to work with technical teams and a solid understanding of technical specifications, schedules and technical documentation • Some knowledge of online creative development and production
The ideal candidate will have a passion for the interactive space. Must be able to articulate an interest in the Internet, information architecture, usability, e-business strategy, and information design.
• 5+ years demonstrated project management experience in online marketing in a client and/or interactive agency environment • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Interactive Media Design, Applied Arts • Proven success managing large-scale projects including multiple-vendor and department-supported projects • Ability to effectively manage project costs to budget and complete projects within specified time frames
