DESCRIPTION

This position will participate in the review of internal audit work paper files to ensure compliance with established IAS and IIA standards, to ensure the consistent delivery of high quality audit work and supporting documentation. This position will also work with existing staff to maintain the IAS automated work paper system (TeamMate). This position will also participate in field audits to support the IAS audit plan/schedule.

This position will assist in the ongoing maintenance of IAS Quality Assurance procedures including the process manuals in accordance with the Institute of Internal Auditors International Standards, perform audit work paper quality assurance reviews, provide feedback and constructive/corrective coaching notes and prepare performance metrics for IAS audit staff and senior management respectively. Maintain and inventory manual audit work paper files and records and participate in field audits.

REQUIRED SKILLS

•This Position requires a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Professional certification, (CIA, etc) is a plus
•Financial services experience is a plus
•Approximately 15%-20% domestic and international travel is required
