DESCRIPTION

CIT Group is in need of a Consulting Project Manager for the IT Risk and Compliance Group. The successful candidate will assist in managing IT projects related to our Bank Holding Company regulatory requirements. Details on the position are as follows:
* Manage IT projects that are part of the CIT transition to a Bank Holding Company
* Perform normal project management functions including developing and managing a plan, communication, documentation, issue identification and escalation, status reporting, etc.
* Planning and coordination of activities across multiple development teams


REQUIRED SKILLS

Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent is required.
* Minimum of 5 years of professional experience managing IT projects in a corporate environment
* Strong analytical skills with solid working level knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Project
* Familiarity with regulatory and audit requirements including Sarbanes-Oxley, FFIEC, ISO preferred
* IT Risk / Compliance / Security knowledge a strong plus
* Self-motivated individual with excellent verbal and written communications skills
* Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
