DESCRIPTION

To meet the needs of a demanding and growing market, CIT is looking for a Financial Accountant.

The successful candidate would be responsible for:
• Monthly portfolio statistical reporting
• Monthly headcount reporting
• Monthly balancing of credit reports to the general ledger.
• Monthly balance sheet variance analysis.
• Monthly income statement variance analysis
• Design and build new analytical reports using Hyperion.
• Quarterly credit reporting and regulatory reporting.
• Prepare ad hoc financial reports.

REQUIRED SKILLS

The incumbent will have the required competencies including:
• 3 or more years experience in accounting with experience in financial reporting, balance sheet account reconciliation and analysis of general ledger items with the experience to explain variances
• MS Office expertise in MS Access and Excel.
• Proficient in using Hyperion financial reporting system preferred
• Proficient in Peoplesoft accounting system preferred.
• BA or equivalent work experience and working towards an accounting designation preferred
• Strong communication, organization, financial analysis, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as an individual and part of a team
