At Trianz, consulting is more than life on a project - it is about helping clients think through business issues and challenges by dedicating ourselves to executing solutions that deliver the business results that top management expects TITLE (Java Architect) JOB DESCRIPTION • Must have 10+ years of experience in technology field. 3-5 years of experience in technology architecture. • Must be expert in core Java, Multithreading, JMS, JDBC, Oracle, Unix, Eclipse. Desirable Experience in OpenSSO, RuleEngine, Business Workflows Processing, Identity Management, REST API etc. • Solid leadership and influencing skills which balance creative yet practical solutions for the businesses without compromising corporate strategies and standards; demonstrate respect and a positive attitude, while projecting a sense of calm and control under pressure situations; • Strong verbal and written communication skills which can clearly articulate complex concepts and ideas to all levels of the organization in both technical and non-technical terms; • Analytical, conceptual and strategic thinking and planning; • Extensive knowledge of architecture principles, patterns and methodologies; • Analytical skills which effectively deal with conceptual and tangible ideas along with attention to detail; • Working knowledge of the IT development process and life cycle, i.e. roles/responsibilities, tasks, milestones, deliverables; • Team oriented with ability to work effectively with many different people across many diverse organizations; • Ability to work on multiple, concurrent projects in a dynamic environment (assignment-based organization) and manage time appropriately; • Ability to plan, organize and orchestrate activities and review sessions; ability to identify and manage risks and issues, including appropriate escalation when needed; • Need to be a self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision; • SaaS implementation experience a plus; • Strong J2EE and SOA Experience required; • UML modeling experience leveraging industry design patterns; RESPONSIBILITIES Single point of contact for all / architecture / Design decisions / issues. Help team in design / develop / debug issues. Interact with onsite / offshore teams for business and technical discussions. Interact with development team to help / assist / involve in solving architecture problems / design decisions / issues. Code review Design review Provide direction to prepare low level design and review DURATION REQUIRED Permanent AREA OF EXPERTISE: Java, J2EE, XML, JMS, JDBC, JAXB, Multithreading, Web services, REST API, Oracle, Unix, Eclipse, OpenSSO, Drools, JBOSS, JPerf, JStyle, OOAD & UML TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED Core Java / J2EE, JDBC, JBOSS, JUNIT, JPERF, Log4J, Web Technologies: XML, Web Service, Databases: Postgre SQL / ORACLE, Design Skills: Design Patterns UML & OOAD OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED 1. Thorough understanding of SW Life Cycle concepts and PM concepts 2. Good presentation,Interpersonnal & communication skills REQUIRED EXPERTISE 1. Hands on experience with Quality frameworks like ISO, CMMI 2. SQA and/or SEPG experience 3. Process definition and implementation experience 4. SQC techniques desirable.
