The Assembly Technician position will temporarily report into the Manager of OR1 Production Process and then report into the Manager of OR1 Production/Assembly. This position will be based in Houston, TX and will be responsible for assembling OR1 integration deliverables in a Class 1 or Class 2 production-compliant environment. Assembly Technicians will have prior experience working in a technical manufacturing, production, assembly or technical environment. Biomedical engineering experience is a plus. Course completion at a technical school (i.e. ITT or DeVry) is preferred. Knowledge of audio/visual technology is preferred. Assembly Technicians will assemble audio visual racks, mount components, test components, wire components, terminate cables, build nursing stations, and perform other duties related to the production process such as ordering, inventory, quality control, packing, shipping, logging, etc…). Collaboration with the Manager of Logistics and other Houston Operations personnel is required. Initial training and experience may include extensive travel and periodic field installation in an operating room environment. Essential Functions:
1) Planning responsibility: Plans for self and others 2) Level of Accountability: Generally dependent upon routine direction, goals and objectives 3) Level of decision making: Wide variety of technical tasks related to production, installation and assembly 4) Has contact with: Inside Operations employees and occasional customer interface during installations 5) Efficiency, productivity, self-initiative and general collaborative teamwork are key ingredients to success 6) Compliance with Class 1 and Class 2 regulatory requirements 7) Compliance with Quality Process related to all production activities 8) Meeting deadlines for assembly completion is core requirement 9) Collaboration with process of shipping/receiving/ordering/admin in support of field installations is required 10) Ensuring that all installation process is completed in accordance with SOPs 11) Ongoing communication with Engineering and Operations

| Required Skills: |
1. High school, trade school or equivalent 2. Technical acumen and prior exposure to technical environment 3. Possesses above average organizational and communication skills 4. Background and competency in electromechanical/audio-visual/quality control process
