This position is responsible for achieve the regional budget and sales goal.
Position is responsible for selling, support, managing promotions, overseeing inventory logistic functions, budgets, and market research. Responsibilities include development of strategy and plans that increase revenues, sales, and the number of customers purchasing KARL STORZs microscopy products.
Duties and responsibilities:
Aggressively sells all KSEA products for Microscopy to hospitals, surgery centers and physicians offices etc.. Grow market share of assigned products. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key accounts and key physicians, essential to the company's future. Provide dependable service after sale to assure customer satisfaction and long term reliability of all KSEA products purchased. Be capable of effective presentation of product features and benefits and procedural application. Aggressively pursue new customers. Prepare and maintain an annual sales plan, including analysis and forecasting that reflects activities/efforts that are required to achieve company goals and quotas. Accountability for all samples provided by KSEA; and, as often as possible, turn over samples through sales to customers. Be alert to all competitive products; design, pricing, promotions and keep management informed in a timely manner. When appropriate, recommend the addition of new products and/or modification, or new application of existing products to management. Comply with all company policies, instructions and directives for the fulfillment of company objectives. Submit complete and informative meeting/convention reports as instructed and in a timely manner. Complete and submit expense reports in accordance with company policy and in a timely manner. Maintain up-to-date customer records and any other records as required by company policy/instruction. Submit any special reports related to the operation of the territory, as required. Attend and participate in meetings, training programs and conventions, as directed. Travel: up to 80% Travel during the year
Additional Requirements:
Clinical instruments sales experience, preferably in microsurgery, ophthalmology, pathology etc. Fundamental knowledge in optics/microscopy and imaging/video technology. Strong problem-solving, decision-making and business analysis skills. Clear understanding of the legal issues facing the employer and the employee with respect to recruitment and retention. Ability to balance the interests of the Company and the employee. Effective communication and conflict management skills. Ability to employ critical thinking in reaching sound decisions, regarding simple and complex issues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with both internal and external customers. Ability to handle confidential information appropriately. Solid organizational skills. Ability to complete projects on time and under pressure. Ability to manage competing priorities. Ability to work independently in the absence of specific instructions. Proficient computer skills in Microsoft and MAC applications; intermediate to advanced computer skills in use of Word, PowerPoint, Excel. Ability to work effectively with CRM system.
