Responsible for planning, directing and coordinating site human resources activities in the areas of employee relations, change management, recruitment, retention, employee development & training, business continuity, and HR compliance.

• Develops and proposes policies and programs in response to company needs.
  
• Responsible for assuring that all HR practices are compliant with federal and state laws.
  
• Leads multi-site continuous improvement efforts to align processes and adopt best practices.
  
• Supervises and develops direct reports.
  
• Serves as member of the site core Operating Team.
  
• Up to 25% travel may be required.

• B.S. required with MBA and HR certification preferred.
  
• A minimum of ten years of demonstrated experience as a “hands on” working manager with expertise in recruitment, employee relations, change management, organizational development & training, project management and HR compliance.
  
• Solid knowledge of state and federal employment law with documented success dealing proactively with employee issues to maintain a positive work environment.
  
• Manufacturing experience required with experience in a lean environment preferred.
  
• Experience building an approachable, high-functioning HR department.
  
• Viewed as a collaborative leader and business partner .
  
• Success leading diverse teams to successful outcomes.
  
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement of HR processes and high caliber customer service.
  
• Solid track record of project management and program development.
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
