As the Director of Business Development for the Patina Restaurant Group (PRG), you will be directly responsible for establishing, developing and executing new business opportunities for the Patina Restaurant Group, with a focus on leveraging and expanding management contract business, this can include but not limited to P&L responsibility of a facility, contract management, fee base operations, new venues, joint ventures, etc. This individual will be responsible for prospecting potential partners and upon identification, opening discussions with prospects, negotiating business terms, contracts and all relevant duties associated with developing new partnerships.

This person will be responsible for the development of new business relationships and management services to the leading, but not limited to, Performing Arts Centers, Museums, Hotels, and Corporate Business and Institution services in the US; developing strong day to day relationships with business counterparts; understanding client business and business strategy objectives and ensuring those objectives are integrated into PRG's business strategy; working across the PRG¡¦s organization to surface and support specific initiatives; analyzing overall deal performance; and developing initiatives designed to grow business in new areas.

„X Prospect, qualify, negotiate and close deals in a aggressive time-frame.
„X Assist with developing business modes to analyze deals.
„X Define product and service solutions that meet client¡¦s needs.
„X Drive relationship building process at multiple levels between client and PRG, including at the senior executive level.
„X Work with internal teams to ensure organizational understanding of client¡¦s strategy and needs.
„X Analyze performance of accounts and report results.
„X Lead complex contract negotiations.
„X Work directly with existing clients to establish strong ongoing relationships.


In addition, this person should have an experienced/tenured business development track record in the restaurant/hospitality industry, strong negotiating skills and contract execution, experience with complex deal structuring, sales and development, an ability to navigate across complex organization, an ability to establish credibility quickly, willingness to take action, make decisions and lead.

„X A BS/BA is required, MBA or equivalent degree preferred
„X Minimum of 8 years of business development or equivalent experience is required
„X Excellent leadership, prioritization, communication, analytic and quantitative skills
„X High degree of comfort overseeing major projects, leading teams, and working with senior executives are also necessary
